A stadium that exudes mysticism everywhere, just like <strong>Wembley, Anfield or Old Trafford;<\/strong> and that celebrates 100 years of memorable matches.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate, the <strong>All England Lawn Tennis Club<\/strong> (AELTC) has made a video tribute before the celebration of the historic tournament that begins on June 27.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2pwvwckaTkY\" width=\"830\" height=\"470\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;The Stage Awaits&#8221;<\/strong> is the title of the <strong>animated Wimbledon commercial<\/strong> created by <strong>McCann London<\/strong> and directed by<strong> Alan Smith and Adam Foulkes.<\/strong> It puts us in the shoes of three young tennis fans and how they fight to succeed on Wimbledon&#8217;s Center Court.<\/p>\n<p>During the journey we see represented the most important players who have made history in the tournament. <strong>Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams or Novak Djokovic<\/strong> are some of the champions that appear in the Wimbledon animated advertisement, as well as characteristic elements of the event such as outfits, hats or sunglasses.<\/p>\n<p>According to <strong>Alexandra Willis,<\/strong> Director of Communications and Marketing at the AELTC: <em>&#8220;After two years of disruption, we couldn&#8217;t be more excited to once again welcome fans from around the world to Wimbledon. We can&#8217;t wait to see what the next hundred years have in store for us.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For their part, filmmakers <strong>Smith &amp; Foulkes<\/strong> commented: <em>&#8220;This is the kind of briefing you dream of. Working with a much-loved national institution and turning it into a vivid dream.
