WeTransfer commercial is an ode to creativity

The WeTransfer commercial is a dynamic campaign that appeals to people’s creativity.

WeTransfer is undoubtedly one of those web services that came to revolutionize the way we move information. A service «simple enough for your parents to use» in the words of the creators Rinke Visser, Bas Beerens and Nalden.

WeTransfer was founded in 2009 out of the frustration of not being able to share large files and today it is one of the most used services to transfer information between users. Now they have wanted to translate that small idea into an advertising campaign full of dynamism.

“Think it. Make it. Move it” is the title of the WeTransfer commercial created by the company’s creative studio. The campaign is an ode to creativity and the journey that ideas take from the moment they are born in someone’s mind until they come true.

To the rhythm of the British musical duo Jungle, the WeTransfer ad shows the creation process of «Volcano», the album that will be released in August. The images are accompanied by an overprinted text that talks about the creative process of a piece of music. The structure and rhythm are reminiscent of the song «Technologic» by Daft Punk.

According to Angelique Temple, Chief Marketing Officer at WeTransfer: «What makes WeTransfer different is the way we have worked with the creative industry to facilitate the flow of ideas.
