The Coca-Cola advert revives the legendary “Coke for everyone” campaign
The Coca-Cola advert reinterprets the successful campaign launched in Argentina in 2000.
If there’s one brand synonymous with advertising, it’s Coca-Cola. The American multinational has been creating all kinds of ad campaigns for over 100 years, constantly reinventing itself with each new communication paradigm.
One of its most acclaimed campaigns was “Para Todos” (Coke For Everyone), launched in Argentina in the early 2000s. It became one of the first viral campaigns, despite the nascent state of the internet back then. Now, the brand has reimagined that campaign to connect with new generations.
“For Everyone” is the title of the Coca-Cola advert created by Cartwright agency and directed by photographer and filmmaker Martin Wonnacott. It’s a campaign that reminds us that, despite cultural divisions and digital overload, one thing remains unchanged: human connection.
The piece revives that iconic Coca-Cola advert first released in Argentina in the early 2000s. Its simplicity, charm, and ability to connect with any kind of audience made it one of the most acclaimed creative pieces in history. Just like the original, the campaign showcases a wide variety of Coca-Cola packaging: cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, and in all sizes.
Every frame is carefully composed to convey closeness, belonging, and authenticity. They manage to capture the product’s beauty and its connective thread across families, communities, and cultures.
Keith Cartwright, founder and Chief Creative Officer of Cartwright agency, stated: “Coca-Cola is one of the few brands with the permission and heritage to turn its can and product into a conversation with the consumer. That is the essence of what we are capturing in this campaign: moments of connection that only Coca-Cola can tell, thanks to its legacy of storytelling around its packaging.”
