Puma’s spectacular advert looking to the Euro Cup

Puma’s advert for the Euro Cup in Germany is a spectacular piece with the brand’s stars.

This year the European Football Championship is being held in Germany and brands are already beginning to position themselves by launching their advertising campaigns. After the commotion caused by the decision of the German Football Federation to abandon Adidas for Nike, an ambitious move by its great rival in the country, Puma, was to be expected.

And the famous brand that split from Adidas in the family war, has launched its most ambitious and largest campaign in its history. And it does so with this spectacular advertisement that brings together all its stars.

“Forever. Faster. See The Game Like We Do” is the title of the Puma advert made by the agency Matte Projects. It is launched with an eye on the Euro Cup to be held in Germany in June.

The campaign plays to the rhythm of the song “Remember Me” by Blue Boy and we see the brand’s big stars. Soccer players Antonie Griezmann, Neymar and Kai Havertz, pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis, hurdler Karsten Warholm, and basketball player Breanna Stewart are some of the exponents.

Puma’s advert aims for the viewer to put themselves in the shoes of these superstars so that they can feel what they do when they display all their speed. According to Richard Teyssier Vice President of Brand and Marketing at Puma: “Puma’s new global campaign represents Puma’s largest marketing investment to date. It is the first time Puma has communicated a single message (Forever. Faster) throughout the campaign. all year round and in different sports categories such as football, athletics, basketball and handball. It is an emotional and unique message that guarantees its connection with our customers.”
